Mickey Dolenz and Linda Lauren
"100th Anniversary Show at BB Kings"

Joining Micky Dolenz, Mike Fitzgerald, and Brucer “the producer” Goldberg, were Mr. G, Karen Stewart, and a host of wonderful entertainers. American Idol Contestant Anwar Robinson sang You Are The Sunshine of My Life; Cheyenne Jackson (from the play “All Shook Up”) sang and wiggled to All Shook Up; while Micky and his sister Coco joined JT Taylor from Kool & The Gang in a rousing rendition of his hit Celebrate. The place was rocking!

Micky and his band are incredible to hear live! He entertained us with a lot of his Monkee hits and then took the dais to welcome Jackie Mason who dropped the “f bomb” on air; plus a surprise visit from Cousin Brucie as Micky’s Mystery Guest. Linda chatted with Micky’s wife, Donna, and had her Jim Morrison memorabilia appraised from rock expert Gary Sohmers of www.itsonlyrocknroll.com,while the audience enjoyed the morning pastries and coffee provided for the party.

We had a great time. The station and the show will be missed!
